Why have professional coaching?
In our busy lives it is rare to have time to yourself, to focus intently on the issue that matters most to you.
When you spend time with me, a qualified and experienced coach, I help you explore whatever issue you might be facing in your work or life, and deeply examine the situation and your reactions.
Over the course of a package of coaching, or even just one off session, we can unlock new insights into an issue, shape the approach you want to take, and create a plan for making it happen.
This can lead to significant change in your career and life. By giving yourself the time and space to talk things through with a professional, we can take you from feeling stuck to having clarity and momentum.
About me
I began coaching ten years ago, as part of my career as a policy and strategy professional in the civil service and the NHS.
In 2021 I secured my Institue of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 7 qualification in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. I have coached executives and senior leaders in the NHS and government, as well as business owners and leaders in the private sector.
In 2025 I took the decision to begin coaching full time and set up Black Pear Coaching.
I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and keep up regular supervision and professional development through that organisation.
I recently moved back to Worcester, where I grew up, with my husband and daughter and am thrilled to be back in my home county.
Outside of coaching I love spending time growing veg in my garden, singing in the Worcester Festival Choral Society, and attemping to improve my ever-slow 5k running time.

Pricing and packages
Free 20 minute introductory session – we can start with a free 20 minute chat to cover what you can expect from my coaching sessions, so you can see if it’s the right fit for you. We’ll also talk about what brings you to coaching, and what you’d like to work through. If you’re happy, you can then book in for one of the sessions or packages below.
1 hour coaching session, £65 - You bring a topic or an issue, and we get straight into exploring it in more detail. We unpack how you might approach it, then shape clear next steps you want to carry out. These sessions are great for when you need to focus on one topic to give you clarity and momentum.
Block of 4 1hr sessions, £247 (£61.75/ session with 5% discount) - we space the sessions out in a way that works for you.
Block of six 1hr sessions, £360 (£58.50/ session with 10% discount)- As part of this package I can also provide prompts, reminders and motivation in between sessions, if you find that useful.
Having a series of sessions works well for topics that are more complex, or need work over a longer period of time. Between sessions you have time to work on actions and see progress, but not lose momentum.
